The Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES) invites you to participate in the international consultation “Challenges and Opportunities for the Incorporation of Foresight into Public Administration in Latin America and the Caribbean.” The aim is to gather information on the use and integration of foresight in the public sector, the challenges and limitations for its institutionalization, and to propose mechanisms that facilitate its adoption.
We kindly ask you to complete a questionnaire that will take approximately 25 minutes. It will be available until Friday, May 16, 2025.
For the purpose of this consultation, the following definitions apply:
• Public policy: government decisions that address collective issues.
• Foresight for development: an ongoing and systematic process of participatory reflection on different future options.
• Strategic planning: a process that defines objectives and the means to achieve them.
The information collected will be used exclusively for research purposes and will be presented in an aggregated format. Participants who provide their name and email address will receive the final report.
